Ola Olukoyede, is the Executive Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, a trained Lawyer, Attorney and Regulatory Compliance Consultant. Specialist in fraud management, compliance management and corporate intelligence. He has offered twenty-six robust years of leadership expertise in anti-corruption engagement ,a certified fraud examiner, leading and managing investigation and litigation of fraud and financial crimes in International development projects, consultant on manpower development for law enforcement and anti-corruption agencies. Over the years, he has been carrying out system study review for a number of financial crimes and law enforcement agencies, government institutions and corporate organizations both locally and internationally.As the EFCC’s Chief Executive Officer, he has initiated novel changes in the working and focus of the Commission, with the establishment of the Fraud Risk Assessment and Control, FRAC, Department and wholesale restructuring of the structures of the EFCC and he is a focused fighter deepening the anti-corruption fight with a preventive framework capable of mitigating losses to corrupt practices. He believes in open and accountable management system which has been yielding results both at the EFCC and the nation at large. Owing to the impact of his work locally, regionally and internationally, Olukoyede was appointed and serving as the President of the Network of Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa, NACCIWA. He has attended several international conferences across the world on anti-corruption initiatives and greatly acknowledged by world law enforcement agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations, FBI, National Crime Agency, United Kingdom, among others Being a former Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman EFCC with fathom of experience in managing high and low level personnel to ensure high performance, his responsibilities included Coordination and Analysis of Reports from all the directorates in EFCC, Supervision of the conduct of investigations involving all suspects, politically exposed persons and other high profile cases also analysis of updates on prosecution of all cases handled by the Commission. Also as the Secretary to the Commission EFCC, he had the statutory responsibilities of being the head of the secretariat of the commission in charge of developing, implementing and coordinating compliance with Strategic Policy documents for OPERATIONS, LEGAL and ADMINISTRATIVE sections of EFCC. Having good human relationship with management staff to ensure that good policies are introduced to enhance the welfare of personnel to serve as a means of boosting the morale of the Commission’s staff in order to take the fight against the menaces called “Financial Crimes and Terrorism financing in our beloved Country (Nigeria), Olukoyede has built a reputation of integrity and humane leadership across the Commission.
