Nicole A. Elam, Esq. is the President and CEO of the National Bankers Association, the leading trade association for minority financial institutions. She is the youngest CEO in NBA's history.Nicole joined NBA in May 2021 from JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she was Vice President of Government Relations, shaping public policy strategies and leading national engagement efforts, including the firm’s $30 billion commitment to racial equity.With over 17 years in public policy and public affairs, Nicole has also held leadership roles at ITT Educational Services, Inc., and Ice Miller Strategies LLC. She has worked as an attorney at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, focusing on congressional investigations, and began her career as communications director at the Black Leadership Forum and legislative assistant at the NAACP.Nicole holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University.
